KMP develops and manufactures top performance drivetrain components such as paddle shift systems, differentials, driveshafts and gears. KMP is a full drivetrain partner with its own service department.
Paddle Shift systems
The KMP paddle shift system is a high quality pneumatic paddle shift system designed for sequential gearboxes. Drivers’ hands can stay on the steering wheel, and clutch usage during race is no longer needed due to the clutchless shift system. The system can be fitted into every car with a sequential gearbox. Also separate components are available to work together with the ECU.
KMP also develops racing wheels that can replace the original OEM steering wheel. The advantages of a steering wheel especially made for motorsport is more grip on and more feedback through the steering wheel. Most of them have buttons and free-to-use buttons fitted. They are available for many different brands and models including the BMW E92, BMW E46 and BMW F-series. And the following Porsche models: Porsche 991/981, Porsche 997/987 and for the Porsche 991 GT3 and 991 GT3RS models. We also cover some Nissan GT-R, Mercedes and VW models.
KMP plated limited slip differentials can be adjusted to your needs. The clutch pack type differential can be replaced by a professional mechanic who specializes in transmission repairs. A better and stronger differential can reduce wear and boost performance on track. They are developed for many brands and models including BMW, Porsche, Nissan, Ford and Volkswagen.
Does your race car suffer from a broken or worn driveshaft? KMP can replace driveshafts for motorsport usage. The original CV-joint can be replaced by a stronger tripod joint especially designed for motorsport. The tripod joint reduces wear and gives better serviceability. Custom made designs are possible as well.
Do you want to get more performance out of a race car? KMP can replace gears with high-spec racing gears with shorter ratios. This results in improved acceleration and a better to manage top speed. There are sets available made with different ratios and one especially for rallying. The gears are available for use in the Porsche 997 CUP or Porsche 982 Cayman.
If you want to increase your wheel torque, or just have a better powerband for your application, you might want to change your final drive. KMP can replace the standard OEM crown wheel pinion by one which can better withstand the use in a motorsport environment. The final drives are made in our own production facility. They are final drives available for BMW and Porsche from stock, but custom batches can be produced as well.

KMP has its own in-house service department, fully equipped with special tooling and machinery to perform professional gearbox and worn differential rebuilds. KMP has a number of mechanics with specific knowledge and experience for these tasks.
Our services extend by remote support from our engineers. KMP’s engineers can even help with installing specialized components such as a paddle shift system.
