BMW Limited Slip Differentials.
The engine power of most cars used in motorsports are much higher than the standard LSD can handle, resulting in insufficient traction and power transmission. Because of this most BMW’s that are used in motorsport use a clutch-pack limited slip differential. The advantages of using a LSD are more traction, more car control and using the power of the car more sufficient.
We have almost all internals in stock, for a wide variety of BMW models. By using materials that are stronger or have other technical advantages, a setup can be made to achieve a more stable car on track. We supply the following internal (replacement) parts:
- LSD friction plates (different materials as well);
- BMW differential bearings and bushings;
- LSD Crown wheel bolts;
- Reinforced differential output flanges.
