KMP CLUBSPORT Steering Wheel – CAN-Bus

The CLUBSPORT CAN-Bus Steering Wheel is a universal, pre-configured interface designed for integration into motorsport and performance vehicle applications. It supports extensive customization and offers reliable connectivity with programmable outputs, suitable for use with ECUs, PDMs, and other control modules.

Core Functionality

• Push Buttons:
  10 laser-engraved buttons with non-removable OEM-style icons. Backlighting is adjustable via CAN-Bus or set to a fixed percentage.

• Rotary Encoder:
  Single rotary encoder with integrated push functionality for menu or function navigation.

• 7-Way Joystick:
  Supports up/down/left/right, clockwise/counterclockwise rotation, and push action.

• Shift Paddles (Optional):
  Magnetic, tactile paddles for shift or input functionality.

 

Configuration & Integration

• CAN Protocol:
  Single CAN interface (500 kbit or 1 Mbit), configurable via DBC file. Bitmasking supported.

• Button Modes:
  Each button supports dual-mode (short/long press). Functions can be assigned as momentary, toggle, or blink.

• Digital Outputs:
  6 low-side outputs, each rated up to 200mA, suitable for controlling external devices.

 

Customizable Parameters (On Order)

• CAN-Bus speed (500 kbit / 1 Mbit)

• Button function mapping

• Icon selection (from library or customer-supplied)

• Illumination control (CAN or fixed)

• Paddle shift

Wheels are pre-assembled and configured based on confirmed specifications upon order placement.

Adapter options

The steering wheel is equipped as standard with a curly cord and no adapter. Additional adapter options are available and sold individually, as follows:

01.06.00250 – Quick release with curly cord
01.06.00251 – Quick release with integrated connector

These adapters provide flexibility for various installation and application requirements.
