BMW Center lock conversion.
Problem
Using the original 5 hole wheels is taking too much time during a wheel change.
Solution
Develop and manufacture a plug and play center lock conversion kit which can fit most common center lock racing wheels.
Description
Each project always starts with mapping all customer requirements. For this project we have worked with the following structure:

At first, we have started with visualizing the current situation. The center lock conversion kit needs to be plug and play with the existing BMW F80 body and chassis. The brake disc mounting bells are designed to fit the original brake discs. For endurance racing a quick-change design is made. There are five wheel studs mounted inside the mounting bell, which guides/locks the wheel in place. The lightweight center lock nut has magnets which can clamp to the wheel nut socket, which improves handling speed. The center lock nut is automatically secured with locking retainers, which will prevent that a wheel can come off during racing.
